How do I look after my flowers?
Keep your dried flowers in a dry place.
Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading colours.
They are best kept away from little hands.
They are delicate and will need special care when moving around.
If they are looking dusty you can use a hair dryer on a cooler setting to gently blow over the arrangement.
Where do your flowers come from?
We are proudly 100% Australian grown.
Our flowers are grown right in our back yard or sourced locally in Tasmania.
We forage grasses at the end of Summer when they are dry, golden and seed free.
Some of our flowers are kindly donated by locals who have excess and love to pass on the love of flowers.
Some flowers are repurposed and dried after large events so that the flowers can be spared going into green waste! Noooo!
Can I cancel my order?
We can accept cancellations of orders only in the event that they have not yet been dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible by email if this is required and your order will be fully refunded.
Why are some arrangements only available in Tasmania?
Because of our current bio laws, some grasses and flora are a bio hazard or noxious weed in some states. It's better to be safe than sorry, we would hate your beautiful flowers to be destroyed by state quarantine!
How much does shipping cost?
We offer a flat rate of $10 AUD for Standard Australian Shipping or $15 AUD for Express Post Shipping within Australia.
For larger orders exceeding 1kg per box (Shipping of larger wedding flowers locally across Tasmania or within Australia) a slightly higher shipping rate is necessary.
This is available within the postage options as a 'Large Order'.
A 'Large Order' would be an order exceeding 3x bouquets, or 6x bunches from the Dried flower bar. We've found that larger orders need to be split into two regular boxes to avoid even higher postage prices!
How long will my flowers take to arrive?
VIA POSTAGE:
We use Australia Post to send our parcels Australia wide.
So once your goodies zoom away with the mailman, delivery will depend on how fast their services are running. But here are some estimates...

Express Post - 1-2 days
Standard Post - 2-4 days
AUSTRALIA WIDE
Express Post - 2-4 days
Standard Post - 4-7 days
Local flower delivery - delivered within 2-3 days
Local Pick Up - available for pickup within 2-3 days
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately we can't send our dried flora internationally.
We will be adding gifts and prints to the store in the near future which will be available internationally.
What if my order is damaged in transit?
We make every effort to ensure your purchase arrives safely. Shipping packages may show some wear from delivery. However if your item(s) are damaged please contact us so we can resolve it for you.
Due to the incredible light weight of our dried flowers, they travel very well.
We secure our bouquets and flower bunches to the box so they don't move during transit. This gives them the best chance of arriving to you, just as they left our studio.
note: It's not uncommon for tiny pieces of dried flowers to fall off. They can be, by nature, quite brittle and fragile. But if large portions of the bunch are damaged we will consider replacement.
Where do you ship from?
We are based in Dunalley, Tasmania, Australia.
Your order will be shipped locally, in Dunalley or from Hobart city if required.
Our postman arrives at 12pm Monday-Saturday.
Unfortunately because of our remote location this may cause a slight delay.
What do your print sizes mean?
Our prints are listed in A series paper sizes.
A5: 148 x 210mm 5.8 x 8.3 inches
A4: 210 x 297mm 8.3 x 11.7 inches
A3: 297 x 420mm 11.7 x 16.5 inches
A2: 420 x 594mm 16.5 x 23.4 inches
A1: 594 x 841mm 23.4 x 33.1 inches
How do I track my order?
When your order has been shipped you will receive a shipping notification via email. This will list an Australia Post Tracking number which you can track your order from https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search
Returns information:
If your delivery is either not what you ordered or you believe it to be damaged in transit please contact us. We will replace or refund (at our discretion) any product that you’re not satisfied with in the event it is not what you ordered, damaged or faulty. We may ask you to provide photos. Unfortunately we will not offer a refund for change of mind, but will offer a store credit at our discretion.
Where are they made?
All Flora products are stored and processed in our home studio, in Dunalley, Tasmania.
Our outdoor barn studio is packed to the rafters with home grown and locally sourced flowers.
How do I look after my prints?
When receiving your prints be very careful unpacking as they are easily damaged. When framing we suggest using cotton gloves available from your local supermarket or chemist. We suggest touching the prints as less as possible. Prints must not be exposed to moisture or heat. Please do not place in direct sunlight as they will fade. Prints will damage if handled too excessively.
Is my personal and payment data secure?
Our website and cart are operated by Shopify and processed by shopify payment gateway or Afterpay, which is reliable and secure. Shopify is Level 1 PCI compliant and uses 256-bit SSL certificates to keep order details secure. You can read our privacy policy in our quick links at the bottom of this page.
Do you wholesale?
Because our flora is subject to seasonal availability we will add larger quantities to the online store as they become available, but we don't actively supply wholesale stock.
We'll happily respond and see how we can help if you are needing certain quantities of flowers.
